No. NYCEP is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal
representation.
We work alongside trusted independent licensed professionals, including
attorneys, process servers, and other service providers, to provide
administrative support and coordination services for our homeowners and
landlords.
The first consultation is all about discovery. We’ll discuss your current business situation, goals, and any pain points you’re experiencing. There’s no pressure — just a meaningful conversation to explore how we can help.
NYCEP does not provide court representation or legal services.
However, we work with trusted independent licensed attorneys who will
appear in court on your behalf from the start of your case to the end.
Our team helps coordinate and simplify the process to reduce your stress so
you don’t have to handle everything alone.
Every tenant situation is different, and timelines can vary depending on
factors such as court scheduling, tenant responses, documentation, and the

Homeowner Shield™ is NYCEP’s membership program designed to help
homeowners and landlords stay prepared, informed and supported before
unexpected property issues become stressful and costly. Members receive
access to educational resources, homeowner support tools, coordination
benefits, workshops, and a trusted professional network.

gives members access to educational resources, administrative support, trusted
professional networks, designed to help simplify the process and provide

Property Shield™ is designed for active members who want additional
support, rent-related resources, and earn Member Contribution Credit?
Investor Shield™ provides a higher level of white-glove support for
multifamily owners and real estate investors managing multiple properties.
With the Property Shield Plan, members may apply up to 50% of their
membership contributions toward qualifying NYCEP administrative support
and coordination services. This credit is earned by being an active member
and through qualified homeowner referrals.

As an Active Member, you help support your community by introducing us to
your neighbors, friends and family members who are homeowners to learn
more about the resources and support services we provide.
Active members, Host homeowner awareness gatherings, Invite Guests To our
Online Seminars and Workshops,
Participate In Our Community Events. Active Members are recognize as a
Homeowner Shield™ Ambassadors and honored at our annual recognition
dinner held each year for participating members. These members who
actively participate may qualify for additional rewards, contribution credit
benefits, seminar incentives, and other membership perks
Yes. Members may upgrade or downgrade their membership plan at any time
based on their needs.
Yes. Eligible memberships may be paused temporarily if needed.
Please note that certain member benefits and access features may be limited
during the pause period.
For assistance, please contact our support team and we’ll be happy to help.
All membership plans require a minimum 5-month commitment.
So Yes, after the initial membership term you may cancel at any time in
accordance with membership terms and billing policies. Members who choose
to cancel early may either can do so by contact support to review available
options.
Yes. Most educational workshops and awareness seminars are included for active
members.
Non-members may be charged a registration fee.
Our Ambassador Program rewards active members for helping spread
homeowner awareness and introducing other property owners to the
Homeowner Shield™ community.
Qualified referrals may earn membership rewards, credits, or special incentives.
Members may receive referral rewards when eligible homeowners or landlords
join Homeowner Shield™ through their referral.

We accept most major payment methods including debit cards, credit cards,
